Previously, I worked with the Center for Technology and Economic Development, a research center at New York University's Abu Dhabi campus. I have also worked with a number of startups and non-profits around the world, and have over 15 years of experience working in remote and/or internationally-focused teams.

I studied Electrical Engineering and received my BS from UCLA and MA/PhD from Princeton University. I also received a Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy (STEP) certificate from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs for my interdisciplinary research project in Kenya surveying the adoption barriers and impact of solar lanterns in off-grid communities, and interned with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization's mission to the UN General Assembly in New York.
